Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Tomer Tricot, a sole trader based in England trading as Shelf ("Shelf", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Shelf app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Shelf. Contact: shelfappinfo@gmail.com.
1. What Shelf is
Shelf gives you a glute-focused training plan, daily calorie and protein targets, and habit tracking. It is general fitness guidance, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Your health
- Speak to a doctor before starting Shelf if you are pregnant or recently gave birth, are injured, have a heart or other medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.
- Stop any exercise that causes pain, dizziness or shortness of breath, and seek medical help if needed.
- Calorie and protein targets are estimates from standard formulas. They are not a personalised nutrition plan.
- You train at your own risk. Use correct form, warm up, and choose weights you can control.
- Results depend on many things, including consistency, sleep, diet and genetics. Results described in the app or our marketing are not guaranteed.
3. Who can use Shelf
You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure.
4. Shelf Membership and payment
- Shelf Membership is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or annually. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers may be offered a free trial. A trial is available once per person.
- The free trial lasts 7 days. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you start one.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Shelf account does not cancel it.
- If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when the purchase is made.
- If we change the price, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your agreement.
5. Refunds
Apple handles all payments, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Your account and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account.
7. Using Shelf fairly
You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its content, interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Our content
The app, training plans, exercise library, animations, Pip and all other content belong to Shelf or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules.
9. Changes and availability
We may update Shelf, change features or content, or stop offering it. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes to these terms, and continued use after that means you accept them. If we stop offering Shelf, we will tell you how to cancel your subscription.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Shelf at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
- We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for injury resulting from not following section 2.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Shelf in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Apple
- These terms are between you and Shelf, not Apple. Shelf, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Contact us for support.
- If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Shelf, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app breaks legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must also comply with any third-party terms that apply when using the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem.
